R L U D F B turn the Right, Left, Up, Down, Front or Back face clockwise (as seen when looking at that face).
R' counter-clockwise · R2 half turn · M E S middle slices · 2R 2nd layer from the right.
Letters follow your view: F is the face pointing at you, U the face on top.
Goal
Scramble the cube, then turn its layers until every face shows a single colour.
Levels
- 2×2 Beginner — only corner pieces: learn how turns move pieces around.
- 3×3 Classic — the original puzzle; centres never move.
- 4×4 Advanced — no fixed centres; build them, pair the edges, watch for parity.
- 5×5 Expert — many more pieces, same ideas as the 4×4.
Beginner's method (3×3)
- White cross on top, each edge matching its side centre.
- White corners — park a corner below its slot (front-right) and repeat
R' D' R D until it jumps in.
- Turn the cube over (drag empty space or use the arrow keys) so yellow is on top, then insert the middle-layer edges.
- Top-layer cross —
F R U R' U' F'.
- Orient top corners — Sune
R U R' U R U2 R'.
- Place top corners —
U R U' L' U R' U' L.
- Place top edges —
R U' R U R U R U' R' U' R2.
2×2: do steps 2, 5 and 6 — it is a 3×3 without edges and centres. 4×4 / 5×5: solve the centres, pair up matching edge pieces, then finish like a 3×3.
Game tips
Learn basic formulas. Understand and master a few restoration formulas — the top-layer cross, corner permutation and friends. Play them from the Formulas tab and watch what each one does.
Simple to complex. Start with the 2×2, then move on to the 3×3, 4×4 and 5×5 to build your technique step by step.
Practice observation. While you turn, pay attention to how the colours are distributed and how the layers relate to each other — you will solve faster with fewer wasted moves.
Why it is good for you
Solving trains spatial imagination and logical thinking — a fun brain workout for players of all ages, from first-timers to cube enthusiasts.

Scoring
Press Scramble to start a timed attempt. The clock starts with your first turn and stops the moment every face is one colour. Best time and fewest moves are saved per level. Rewind replays your turns backwards and does not count as a solve.
