How it works

Borrow every brain. Keep your own.

  1. 01

    Sync in forty minutes

Visit any Quorum node. No surgery, no robes, no chanting — just a comfy chair, a cup of tea and a very gentle hum. Bring photo ID.

  2. 02

    Wonder anything

Need to know something? Just wonder. The answer surfaces like one of your own memories, signed by whoever lent it, so you can say thanks.

  3. 03

Show up one day a week

On your Hive Day you work on shared objectives from 9 to 5 alongside a few hundred thousand others. At 5:01 you’re off — and entirely yourself.

Everyone else’s mind · live demo

Go on. Wonder something.

Members don’t type. They just wonder, and an answer arrives like a memory — signed by whoever lent it. This is the typed version.

Answers from the hive will appear here.

Simulation. The answers are pre-written; for members they arrive in about 0.4 seconds, inside their heads, with a warm feeling of having always known.

Individual identity, guaranteed

Linked, never merged.

Your cell is yours. Choose which facets of you the hive can borrow — everything else stays behind the wax.

  • Work skillsEverything someone pays you to know.
  • LanguagesEvery word, accent and swear word you’ve got.
  • How-tos & hobbiesKnots, recipes, the right way to hang a picture.
  • Hot takesPineapple on pizza, tabs vs. spaces, that film’s ending.
  • MemoriesHolidays, heartbreaks, that one karaoke night.
  • Inner monologueAlways private. We couldn’t switch this on if we tried.

One day a week, 9 to 5

The hive gets a day. You get the week.

Hive Day runs 9 to 5 with lunch on the hive. Choose the day that suits you, swap it with two weeks’ notice, and never think about hive work outside those hours.

The network

Know everyone. Literally.

Every member is a professional contact you already know intimately — so networking is less “nice to meet you” and more “oh, it’s you”.

Will I lose my personality?

No. Quorum is a link, not a blender. Members score 100% themselves on the Individuality Index before and after syncing. You’ll still be you — just better informed.

So can everyone read my mind?

Pretty much everyone can access what you’ve chosen to share: skills, languages, know-how — the stuff you’d happily explain at a party. Memories and hot takes are private until you say otherwise, and your inner monologue can’t be shared at all.

What actually happens on Hive Day?

From 9 to 5 on your chosen day you work on objectives voted in by quorum — mapping, teaching, research, restoration and the occasional collective crossword. You’ll feel pleasantly purposeful. At 5 p.m. it stops. Mid-sentence, if necessary.

What if I’m sick, on holiday, or just not feeling very hive-y?

You get 25 Hive Days off a year, plus sick days. Another member covers for you — they’ll remember exactly how you’d have done it.

Is the 5% before or after tax?

Before. It’s collected monthly, scales with what you earn and drops to zero if you earn nothing. Nobody is ever priced out of knowing things.

Can I leave?

Any time, with 30 days’ notice. You keep everything you learned about yourself. Borrowed skills fade over about a month, like a language you stop practising.

Is this a cult?

Cults don’t have a 9-to-5, a published fee schedule or a cancellation policy. We have all three. Also, cults hate it when you ask. We genuinely don’t mind.

Resistance is optional

Your cell is waiting.
